Client: Homeharvest.com
Problem: Advertise Homeharvest.com in an urban environment to consumers from ages 18-70 years old, who would be interested in growing their own garden at home.
Solution: I came up with the tag line, “Home is where your harvest is”. Then I developed a concept of creating a vintage wall painting advertisement instead of a standard roadside billboard.
From Wikipedia: Futurism was an artistic and social movement that originated in Italy in the early 20th century. It emphasized and glorified themes associated with contemporary concepts of the future, including speed, war, technology, youth and violence, and objects such as the car, the airplane and the industrial city.
The Futurists had a Manifesto that included their strong stance on war, destroying the past, their love of machinery, and speed. My cereal box design based on the Futurist style:
I am taking a traditional photography class, and our assignment was to create and capture a still life scene. I thought it would be really boring just to look at ordinary items, so I created a scene of a Storm Trooper hanging out at home. I haven’t developed my film yet, but here are some shots I took with my digital camera.
